a lull in the action

Hello, has been quite a while since I painted anything for 15mm. I seem to be in a slump. having ordered so many 15 mm goodies, I seem to be paralyzed by choices....so I did what any sane, rational man would not.
I started a new blog and a new scale. brilliant.
Actually just a side project, painting some old discarded mechwarrior clickies I had lying about in a box.
Will try to make useable armies out of the trash, for use with Gruntz, and Tactical assault card game.
Actually has sparked a little creative fire under my aging neurons, and am enjoying painting once again.
if interested in progress /ramblings along the 10 mm sci fi frontier head over to Rusty Mech Salvage Yards.

  1. I have thought about using Mechwarrior minis for gaming purposes, too, as they are so cheap. But not ever having played the game, I didn't know if the infantry and the vehicles were of the same scale. I've also jumped onto the Combat Card bandwagon. I haven't gamed with them yet, but they look very promising.

  2. I feel like the infantry, mechs, vehicles are all in scale to one another...at least enuff for me.
I like them for the simple reason..so much variety. combat cards has an antiaircraft unit and so does mechwarrior.i too have not played the cards yet
